Contract Mechanisms
We engage in work under all of the traditional contract mechanisms - principal contractor, turnkey, reimbursable, schedule of rates and lump sum - but we are a pioneer in the field of performance-based contracts.

Low Cost Engineering
Transfield Worley has access to high performing, low cost engineering centres in China and India. We can utilise these operations to deliver practical "commodity" engineering packages for New Zealand clients at significant cost savings and with rapid turnarounds.

Our continued success is founded on our ability to drive productivity improvements within both our own and our sub-contractors� workforces. We ensure that our people are fully trained; we monitor and reduce non-productive time; and we train supervisors in leadership and work efficiency techniques.
We have a database of over 100,000 established engineering and construction norms, used to help develop estimates, to set realistic benchmarks and targets, and to drive performance to achieve those targets consistently.
Integrated Systems
Transfield Worley's service contracts are based around our teams working every day with clients on site. We have invested heavily in integrating our management systems with those of our clients, facilitating single point data entry, data transparency, reduced administration and real time monitoring of progress and costs against objectives.
